We’re turning the mics over to the next generation. This week, we’re joined by our boys Liam Miles, Austin Snell, and Owen Snell for one of the most chaotic and entertaining episodes we’ve ever recorded! The kids answer the tough questions: What do your dads actually do all day? What makes them mad? What animal are they most like? Then we get into Liam’s sports card hustle and even rip a few packs. Whether you’re a mortgage professional, a card collector, or just interested in hearing Owen talk about Super Mario – this one’s for you.

No, do youDo you like your new school? Your new school, do you like it better than your old school? No, I m- I, I miss my old school. What did you like about your old school that, better? I didn’t kiss a girl 6 times- I can’t do ituntil I was, like, 22. Liam still hasn’t kissed a girl. No. If he has, he’s definitely not admitting it on this show. That’s it. I’m out of here. Ugh. It’s all right. It’s all right. How about you, Austin? You’ve kissed a few girls. No. No, it’s all right. Mom. Leave that for Owen. Oh. Leave that for Owen. I love it. Oh, man. Do you guys wanna get into a few questions? Sure. No. No? Why? We’re gonna go old, uh, youngest to oldest. So Owen’s gonna answer the first question. Let’s see how this goes down. Uh, I can’t even read. Because I don’t know how to. Not even with the new glasses? Well, I can see up close, but I can’t read. All right. Well, I’ll read it, and you answer the question, okay? Okay. What do the dads do all day at work? Uh, they try to earn some money. They try to earn some money? Yeah. what do you think we do at work all day? They help people buy houses. Because you always say that you try to earn money. And they, and they give- Loan money, maybe not own money Loan money? And you do mortgages No, I doand you do mortgages. Mortgages? Mm-hmm. Liam- And loansand what el- what else do you think we do all day? Sit in your office. What about you, Liam? Uh, I think you guys, like, help people, like, buy houses, like, by giving ’em money, and then, like, just sit on the phone, like, all day. Just, just sit on the phone, like, just playing on our games, on Facebook, trying to make deals, like- Anythingall of the above, I guess. We just, I mean- It’s pretty easywe’re playing Fortnite all day. It’s pretty easy. That’s what’s really going down. All right, all right. All right, I got another question for you, Owen. Ready? Okay. What is, what are, what are dad’s favorite things to do outside of work? UmWhat do I like to do outside of work? Don’t know. I don’t know. Does that golf? Golf? Golf maybe. What about you, Austin? Uh, coaching me playing baseball. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I do a lot of that. Baseball, basketball. Anything else? You think that’s my favorite thing to do? Yeah. Yeah? Or watching TV. Order DoorDash? Does he order a lot of DoorDash when he, uh, watches TV? Yeah. Same. What about you, Liam? Uh, he likes bringing me to, like, the Celtics games, and, like, taking naps. Dude, I, I think I need to address this, right? Taking naps. I like to rest my eyes- Why are you laughing? for 15 to 30 minutes. You’re not even laughing. Oh, my God. That’s a good one. All right. So Owen, what makes me mad? When, what, what- Ohhappens when I get mad? Or what makes me mad? I don’t know. What do you do- I knowthat makes me mad? He’s like, “Nothing, Dad. “I know you. Oh, I know. I know you now. You know? I know 2 things. His noises with his toys, and when we’re watching something and it’s too loud. What about for you? What do you do that makes me mad? Or just what makes me mad in general. Oh. It doesn’t have to be something youI don’t know. I guess I don’t get mad a lot. That’s awesome. I think the wife has to listen to this. Did I say- Oh, I knowI said that? I said- When you’re playing golf and you don’t do good. No, that doesn’t really make me mad. Yes. He’s like, “Yes. “Just when it’s, like, a big tournament, right? What are you laughing at, huh? That doesn’t make me mad- He’s like, when you guys don’t listen to me. You swear with your friends. Yeah, when you say bad words. Yeah. That’s when he’s mad? Yeah. That’s how you know Dad’s mad is when he says bad words? What about you, Liam? Uh- What makes your dad mad? When he finds, like, expired food. I feel like this was coached. I’m getting assaulted over here. Somebody, somebody call the cops. I need to put a case on. Where did this come from, Liam? Where did this come from? We gotta get a little backstory here. I’m taking naps. I thought of it. Oh, my goodness. Expired food. But where’s the backstory? I’m gonna fly out of this roof. You’re gonna fly out of this roof? I’m, I’m gonna fly out- Every once in a while, I’ll go through the cupboards, and I’ll just find expired foods, 5 of the same thing opened up, but it’s like, this hasn’t been touched in 18 months, and it’s expired for, like, 4. So I’m like, “Guys, what are we doing here? “Yeah, once- And it kinda gets a little, little tension in the, in the casa. think I know. I think I know what makes my dad mad, when somebody spends money on his credit card. Really- Like who? Mom? Yeah. I, I feel like Mom would do that. Probably. I think you spend money on my credit card- Yeah, she definitely-with all your toysI didn’t. No? All right, we’re gonna do some rapid fire questions. Mm-hmm. So you’re just gonna answer it real quick. I’m gonna, I’m gonna ask these questions real quick first. Hold on here. All right, so Owen, are you ready, buddy? Yeah. What do you wanna be when you grow up? Uh, I wanna be Mario when I grow up. That’s the best. And- What about you, Austin? A professional baseballThat’s a big one. That’s awesome. You just have to work hard, put it in, put in that time, go to training. What about you, Liam? I have no clue. You have no idea? What do you wanna do when you grow up? Pick a profession that you’d like to do. I don’t know. I think- You already have, like, kind of a job right now. What do you do now? Oh. Uh, buy and sell, like, sports cards. You have your own page? You wanna put a plug out there, like, what, what’s the name of the, the sports cards? Uh, Liam’s Sports Cards on Instagram. How long have you been doing that for? 6 years. 6 years. Sorry. Make some money on it? Not a bad little gig. Good little f- captain. Kinda got me into it, and- We can-Verne and Austin. We can talk about that towards the end. Yeah. We’ll talk about that disaster. We spent a lot of money on that. Owen, you ready, buddy? What does your dad do that embarrasses you when you’re out in public? Uh, nothing. You’re just, Dad doesn’t do anything bad when he’s out in public? Yes. All right. What do you think, Austin? Nothing. We just embarrass our, my sister together. You guys all just gang up on poor Peyton? Yeah. Yeah, we, we’re shaking our butts. When- You just shake your butts? When me, after basketball practice, me and Dad went to her gymnastics, and we, we were cheering for her. And she got embarrassed. Yeah, and she was mad. Liam, what is, uh, what do I do that embarrasses you in public? Uh, I don’t feel like embarrasses me, but, like, you getting, like, super mad at the basketball games. Well, like, something when he embarrasses me. I, I don’t know what’s going on here. I, I feel like I’m super calm at these games. Like, sometimes there’s a couple bad calls. I’m em- I’m embarrassed, um, when people look at me when I’m in the bathroom. I think I am, too. We- That’s a private place. Yeah. Right? Yeah. You want the door shut. Oh, uh, Austin shouldn’t- Yeahcome in there and bust in, like, while you’re going number 2. He’s the one who comes and busts in when I’m going to the bathroom. Yeah, he’ll be like, “Get out!”No, Lincoln’s the one who comes in- “I’m gonna beat you”if you don’t get out. Lincoln busting on you? Lincoln’s the one who comes. Yeah. time when I saw Lincoln something, he just wants it and w- and I’m like, “No. “And he does not care about no. He starts screaming like this, “Ah!”All right. So this is gonna be a good one, Owen. It’s you when I do something. I’m waiting for your answer on this. Ready? Okay. I’m gonna ask you a serious question. What animal is your dad most like? Uh, elephant. And why do you think he’s most like an elephant? What does he do? Because, because elephants so smart. Aw, thanks, buddy. That’s so nice. They’re so small? Smart. Oh, smart. Wow. How old are you? I bet, I bet you don’t get the same compliment. I’m getting roasted over here. And the factHow old are you, Owen? He’s gonna be a sloth- 5? ’cause he likes to take naps. No, I’m 6. You’re 6 years old and you know an elephant is that smart, and your dad’s just like an elephant. He’s just so smart. elf can turn into a elephant. That’s amazing. What do you think, Austin? What animal is your dad most like, and why do you think that? Uh, a lion because he’s strong and he’s the king of the house. What? D- you, you’ve definitely paid these kids. No. I didn’t. I don’t even know the questions. Somebody that organizes these questions. No, Mom, Mom is, like, the king of the house. You’re always getting paid. Yeah. What are you trying to get, a little cut out of this? Nope. New toys? I already got cut. Oh, he- Austin. He tried to kill me. He actually tried to kill me with the tape measure up. Oh, my God. Liam, what animal am I most like and why? Like, a giraffe. I, I, I feel like, um, you know, this is, like, a roasting. Like, I feel like it looks like- Why, why is he like a giraffe? Yeah. ‘Cause he’s, like, tall and lengthy, and they’re like, they look, seem like nice animals, and they can be, but, like, they can get, like, aggressive quickly. I am shutting this down. I feel like he had that one rehearsed. Yeah, I mean, that, that was the most words that he came out and just said right there. Oh, my goodness. All right. So last one before we go to some rapid fire. Owen, who is your favorite person that works at Milestone that is not your dad? UhWho works here? We have so many people that work here at Milestone. You have Jared, Eric, me. You. W- Wendy? Wendy? She’s your favorite? Yeah. All right. Why? Does she bring you food? Pasta. Toys? All right. All right. Get shady. So Wendy, get your involved. How, how did you get into the podcast room today? How did- Because our other podcast got deleted. N- no, how did you get into the room? Did you walk into the room, or did you get pushed into the room on a chair? I got pushed into the room by a chair. Who was pushing it? Wendy. You got some VIP service here, Owen. All right, Austin, I’m gonna ask you. Who is your favorite person at Milestone besides your dad? Who’s the guy, it’s not Jared, the one who’s, so if you go into his, his, his office and you take a left, not the next office next to him, the guy in, like, the square. Jacob? Yeah, Jacob. ‘Cause- Everybody loves Jacob ‘Cause why? ‘Cause he likes talking and playing catch with me. Austin just comes here so he can throw a ball around. Yeah, and I stole candy from another person’s office. He’s not messing around. He’s like, “Ah. “I feel like- Liam, who’s your favorite person at Milestone besides me? there’s like 3. It’s like Craig, Wendy, and Jacob. Why is Craig, Wendy, and Jacob individually, why are they your favorite? ‘Cause like me and Jacob, like, we’ve like done a bunch of like different stuff. Craig, like, he’s like fun to hang out with and he gets me golf balls. And Wendy, I’ve just like known for a while, and she’s like always gets me stuff. Yeah, I mean, her nickname is Auntie Wendy, right? Yeah. She’s, she hangs out since you were born. So I think it’s like, you know, Wendy’s a given. E- all the kids love Wendy. The Jacob thing, we gotta talk about thisWhy does all the kids love Jacob? Yeah, we need to figure this out. Like, he doesn’t have any kids. It’s a little concerning. We, we gonna have to talk about that. I think it’s just because like, you know, I was away last week or the week before, and it’s 37 degrees out, and, uh, I find out that Liam is calling everybody that works at Milestone that he has a phone number to- Yeahasking if they wanna go golf and hang out. I’ve called before, he’s over at Craig’s house hitting the simulator in the garage. I’m like, “How did you get there? “He’s like, “Oh, Craig picked me up. “I’m like, I, I, I d- what is happening here? Like, I think my son’s been to Craig’s house more than I have since the new house. Definitely. All right, so dad has some rapid fire questions. I haven’t heard any of these. This is the first time I saw any of these questions. So I’m a giraffe, but much better than the sloth you were gonna call me. Craig’s a lion, and an elephant. I got giraffe out of this. I feel like I should’ve brought another kid in here. I love it. He’s got a giraffe on his arm. I love elephants because elephants are cute. Oh, you have an elephant- Oh, you have an-sticker. Oh, that’s awesome. That’s why, that’s why you’re an elephant today. I got it at school. That’s awesome. All right, you ready for the questions? Wait, he kicked the table. I’ll shut you now. Are you ready, Owen? Do you like Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks? I like Dunkin’ Donuts. Boom. Who’s stricter, mom or dad? UhDo you know what that means? Yeah, strict is like, uh, when weYeah. Who’s, who’s more mean, mom or dad? Uh, I don’t know. Pick one. Uh, sissy. He’s like, “I’m not picking between mom and dad on this. “Do you like pizza or tacos? I love pizza. And I likeI love pizza too. That’s my favorite. Who’s funnier, mom or dad? UhDad. And then who’s your favorite, Sonic or Mario? Mario. Oh. Because Mario is like the best. Sonic is, like,So- Poop? Yeah. Sonic is so slow. So- Sonic isn’t slow, he’s super fast. All right. Ready, Austin? Mm-hmm. Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks? Dunkin’. Who’s stricter, mom or dad? I don’t know. Mom. Pizza or tacos? Pizza. That’s not even a debate in our house. Yeah. Who’s funnier, mom or dad? Dad. But we both voted for Dad. Yeah. And Sonic or Mario? You’re not really into that stuff? Uh, baseball. Who’s Mario? Baseball. Baseball? What- Hey, no, you actually said- Who’s your favorite baseball player? Darren Durant, Shohei Ohtani. Boy, that makes no sense. So what, what’s a game that we’ve been playing a lot lately? MLB The Show? Oh, The Show, yeah. Who’s better, me or you? You. Doesn’t wanna answer the question right now. What do you play that on, PlayStation? Yeah. Nice. Dad’s been whooping his butt. No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And one time when we were doing an argument in the basement, um, we added a whoop on people. What? We added a whoop on our s- my sister and my brother with no pants on. Oh, my God. Oh. Liam, who next? Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks? Oh, Dunkin. Yeah, we all love Dunkin. I feel like this is just a commercial now for Chris Mudgen, who was here earlier today. No kidding. Who’s stricter, your mom or your dad? Uh, depends on the kind of play scenario. Pizza or tacos? Pizza. Who’s funnier, your mom or your dad? Probably my dad. Sonic or Mario? Uh. That one’s for Owen. You gotta pick. I’ll do Mario. Yes!Mario. Oh, my God. All right, boys. So we’re talking about- Oh, they have some questions I think. Oh, you guys have some more questions. Let’s roll. Reading. All right. What are you guys most proud of? What are you guys most proud of? Most proud of? Yeah. In what sense? Uh. Not you, Owen. Of you guys? Yeah. Us, and, like, in general. So I think I’m most proud of you for going into your freshman year at Bishop Stang, doing a great job, getting your grades up. You got a, over a B average. I think you’re doing a great job. Super proud of you and, uh, taking on this card business and being able to do all that together. I think it, it shows that you’re, you’re starting to mature. My turn? So for Austin, I would say I’m most proud of, uh, how smart he is, how caring he is. Uh, he’s a very nice kid. Uh, you know, where a lot of kids at that age, it’s, it’s tough. And, uh, he does very well in sports, but also in school as well. And, uh, he’s always looking out for his friends and his family. And for Owen, I would say I’m most proud of his amazing outlook on life and how happy he is all the time, and how much fun he has with everything he does. As long as he’s got Mario in his hand, he’s good. Dude’s chilling. Can I see it? Yeah. If I lose Mario- Well, you can see it. You can’t touch itif I lose Mario, I’m gonna be on a rampage to find it. I love this kid. And I, and I lost my other Mario, which he had his hand shot. And this one’s my- Okay, buddy. That’s enough Mario talk. What makes you the most scared? What makes me the most scared? Uh, what am I most scared of? I don’t know. Heights. Yes, heights. 100% heights. I do not do Ferris wheels. My wife tries to get me on those. My kids have tried to get me on those. I’ve gone on- I have something to sayprobably one or 2 in my life with them. And, uh, been an experience, and they get to make fun of me for months and years on end that, uh, I do not do heights well at all. What about you, Craig? Did you have something you wanted to say? Yeah. I’m scared of spiders. Good. Yeah. Spiders are pretty scary. I would say, uh, I mean, as far as that, I’m definitely not a fan of heights, and, uh, being trapped or locked in or locked out of something. Ever since our hot tub episode where we got locked outside in New Hampshire, definitely a fear of mine, of being locked out in the cold. Definitely not something I look forward to. And what did you do? We had to break through the door, remember? Oh, no, you were sleeping. You wereActually, I don’t even know if you were alive yet. You were probably still inside. Yeah, I was, I was probably, um, still in Mom’sYeah. Or a thought. ‘Cause I wasn’t born yet. I wasn’t born. Um, what is your favorite memory with your kids? I think my favorite memory is obviously the ones we’ve already had in, uh, going on vacation, spending time with you and Olivia, and, um, just watching you guys grow up and seeing you guys mature from infants. I see Craig has been so kind to bring in the pterodactyl, AKA Lincoln, and Owen. I’ve been able to see these guys all grow up. Whoa. And watching you guys grow up as kids, just growing and mature, and now I have Mom yelling at me. Uh, you know, “You got a fresh cut yesterday,” but, you know, I got a, the phone call while I was away last week, “Hey, can you please come home and show Liam how to shave his face? “And it’s like, oh, my God, I can’t keep, keep up with this. It’s, uh, it’s, it’s, itYou guys, you guys grow up way too fast. So I think those are my favorite memories, just creating the new ones. And I’m always looking forward to the next memory, right? So everybody who knows me knows that the windshield’s bigger than the rear view mirror because I’m always looking to the future and making those, those memories and going on vacation and spend as much time with you guys as I can. Favorite memory- Yeahquestion? Man, I’m not good at these things. Me playing T-ball. Me playing T-ball. Austin’s like, “It’s all about me, Dad. “Let’s go, baby. And I’m also scared of coyotes because I don’t wanna get eaten. I don’t know if I could say what my favorite memory is. I would say it’s probablyYou know, I, I’m not a crazy person with traveling, so the time we get to spend all at the house together, having fun. I’m looking forward to a lot of memories this year with the pool and having all the kids over and all of our friends over and stuff, and I think we’re gonna make a lot of good memories this year. You guys excited for the pool? Dad put a big pool in your backyard. The, the- You guys are ready to gothe first thing that, when our pool opens, the first thing when our pool opens, we are gonna have all our friends over. That’s gonna be awesome. After school, just jump into the pool, relax. You have a heater on it, so it’s gonna be nice and warm. Yeah. I can do a back flip in the water. What? I can’t wait to see that. All right, Austin. What are you really bad at? Read it one more time. What are you really bad at? Why do I always have to go first? So, I mean, I’m just gonna talk about what happened today. I’m, uh, I’m really bad at remembering things. Like, I think it’s like- Me tooBut I’m also really bad with technology and typing. So your dad was in my office, and we were going over some new stuff, and he’s like, “I hope that, you know, ChatGPT or Claude can understand your typing,” ’cause I misspell everything ’cause I’m trying to type with 2 fingers like this. So I think technology, I’m g- I’m trying to get better at technology, though. I think I’m really bad at that. And I’m really bad at letting go of expired food in my cabinets, according to my kids and, uh, and my wife. So I have to get better at that. What do you think I’m really bad at? Oh, pitchingpitching. Pitching. BP. No, I’m nasty at pitching, it just has to be a knuckle ball. I would s- I would say- I’ll tell you something that I’m bad atOkay. I’m, I’m bad at remembering things of where my, of where I put my, like, tiny toys and- Mm. Aren’t these questions for the dad? Yeah, Owen thinks every question’s for him. It’s awesome. I would say I’m bad at patience. My patience sometimes are not- Ohthe best. He just goes, “Oh. “Sometimes after a long day at work, by the time I get home and get bombarded with 4 kids that just wanna see me-my patience aren’t too good, right? Yeah. Every time when Dad gets home, I wanna make something in the 3D printer. So it’s the thing, I buy this 3D printer, and I’m like, “Oh, it’ll be good,” ’cause he has all these little toys that he always wants. I’m like, “I can just print them for him instead of having to buy them online every 2 seconds. “Well, that turned into, like, a 2hour search on my phone of the specific toy that he wants that’s impossible to find on this thing. And it’s every single day. The second I walk in, “Hey, Dad, can you make this on my, the 3D printer? Can you make this? “So it’s become a lot. You’re like, “I’m gonna just have somebody just make 3D toys. “Do you like the 3D printer, though? Yeah, I love it. And, and, and one time whenAnd a lot of times we couldn’t find a small Mario, but one day we found the most smallest Mario that was, like, this size. Do you have any other questions, buddy? What would your superpower be? superpower- I tell people my superpower is that I do not remember things. Because if you remember everything, good or bad, it can hurt you. So I think I use that to my advantage, and it’s also a disadvantage. So-I just forget things, but I forget a lot. So I think forgetting all the bad stuff that you did when you were younger- Ohor you didn’t listen to your parents, or mistakes you made, I just happen to forget most of those things and let those things just go. Is it what is your superpower, or what do you want your super- What would your superpower be? Oh, I didn’t know what that was. What would my superpowerIf I could pick any superpower? Yeah. Ooh. Be super tall, ’cause you already- I think my s-if I could pick any superpower, I would want to teleport, jump into a little time machine, and just transport myself and never have to drive or jump on an airplane. Just teleport myself somewhere. That would be awesome. That’d be mine, so I can get out of school. Like, we had that blizzard a couple weeks ago, and you guys are stuck in your house. At that point, I just wanna teleport to, like, a Caribbean island on a beach with a vodka soda in my hand maybe. And relax and it, not have 3 feet of snow outside that we have to shovel. What’s yours? Teleporting would be pretty cool. I feel like that’s not going to be. But I would sayI don’t know. Maybe super, super strong. You already are. You’re like a lion. Am I stronger than Javi? No. Or, or as, another superpower that would be awesome would be able to have multiple of yourself so you could just do- Mmeverything that you possibly wanna do. ‘Cause just be in multiple places at the same time. That would be pretty cool. Be a mind reader. Whoa. I’d love to be in Owen’s mind sometimes. It never stops. Bing, bing, bing, bing. Mario, Mario, Mario. I, I feel like me and Owen have a lot in common here. You love Mario? Yeah. I, I wanna be Mario for Halloween bec- I’m gonna be Mario for every Halloween. Let’s do it. Is there any other questions on that? No. Nah. So we wanted to talk a little bit about the, uh, sport card business that you’re in, and kinda you got me into that. Yeah. You got yourW- Spent $30,000You were into it first, or did he get you into it? I was, I always collected sports cards when I was younger, and then as I got older, I just started buying more collectable sports cards, like rare sports cards or something that would go up in value. So I wasn’t always a quantity, it was a quality thing. And, um, then I kinda passed it onto him, so when he was first born, I would buy, like, every football, basketball and baseball, the complete set every year and I kinda stopped doing that when he got into it as hard as he did, ’cause I’m like, “He’s not gonna need any of these things. “Um, but then he took it to a whole ‘nother level. That generation came out withI mean, it’s always been there, but he was able to teach me about technology and TikTok and card breaks, which are, uhAs you know, I, I was over at the, uh, Snell residence with, uh, for a party. We went over there for some prime rib with Liam, and he’s like, “Dad, we need to get on a break. “So I’m over in the corner on a break with Liam, Austin looks at it, he’s like, “This is awesome. “And then Craig looked at it and he thought it was awesome. Fast-forward later on that night after I went home, Craig’s on the website with Liam and Austin, and you’re breaking into cards and you’re buying cards on breaks and- He got a one of one Tyrese Haliburton. And then your dad went down the rabbit hole, right? I mean, we should probably let him, I don’t know how much in depth he wants to get in on this on camera- He-with your mom potentially watching this. But, uh, you know, say he, he, he’s, he had a very small collection maybe when he started this, and now he’s got one of the better collections out there a matter of, like, a couple Saturdays and, and a couple credit card bills later. It, it’s a little addictive, because it’s like, it’s- He spent like 30, $40,000 on it. Wait, chill, Owen. It, it’s an investment, buddy. It’s called an investment. It’s like the stock market. Uh, but it’s fun to watch him open up the cards to see what you’re gonna get- Yeah’cause you just don’t know. I mean, when you’re sitting there and they’re like, “Oh, it could be a card that’s worth $100,000 or a million dollars or $10,000,” it’s pretty exciting to open and, and bust those things. And then, but then they ship them to you. And I didn’t really realize all the work that it goes into trying to get them graded, go through them, figure them out, sell them, and try to get all this money back. So luckily, that’s where Liam came in, and I gave him my entire collection so that he can go through them and figure all that out. What’s your- How are we making out with that? What’s your favorite part of collecting, flipping? I mean, you’ve been doing that now, you said 5, 6 years. I mean, you’ve really got into it in the last, like, 2 years with Liam Sports Cards on Instagram and buying and selling. I see your Venmo account going up and down. Like, what’s your favorite part? Like, what excites you about doing that? Uh, just, like, collecting, like, cool cards, like LeBron, like all the Boston guys, Tatum, and just, like, seeing, like, the collection you can build over multiple times if you put, like, time into it. Yeah, I mean, so I learned a lot from you, like talking about your PC and figuring out what that meant. I didn’t know what that meant. It’s your personal collection, you’re putting the cards away. How much, how much money do you think you make? Like, I know I joke around and I’m like, “You have to make a couple 1000,” ’cause I see it on your Venmo account. But then I see you investing it andJust tell the story, you just, you just flipped a card the other day. You ha- It just came in the mail and it was already gone. Oh, yeah. I bought, like, a $180 card, like a Jaylen Brown. I sold it 2 days later for 420. So just, like, quick flips like that also feel good, too. How many of those do you think you can do? I mean, you’re gonna try to peak this up in the spring and the summer andWhat about, like, speculating on sports cards, right? Like, Craig talked about it being like the stock market and it’s an investment. Like, you wanna talk to everybody about, like, how you look at that? Like, during the summer, all, like, the NFL and NBAs are in the off-season, so that’s a good time to, like, buy players you think are gonna do good during the next season. And, like, great cards are there, so you get it back in time. To flip in it during the season. So if the player has a good year, it, the card’s gonna be worth more. But then in the off-season, it kind of, the market kind of slows down for it. Yeah, it kind of dips. Yeah. So now going into baseball season, Austin, I heard you sayWho was one of your favorite baseball players? A Red Sox player, right? What was his name? Jaren Durant. Did your dad not pull one of the craziest Durant cards that he possibly could have pulled that day on a live break? I want it, but he didn’t. You wanna keep it? Yeah. You can haveWe’ll get it graded. Hopefully it comes back. We’re gonna get it graded, and then he’s gonna have it. Then I can sell it. You can sell it? I thought you wanted to keep it. And then I can get money. It, it went from the personal collection to I just want this so I can make some money. Yeah. Dad doesn’t care anymore, but it’s his. Thought he wanted to keep it. Yeah, so today, uh, Liam had a good idea. He doesn’t know we’re doing this, but I might have picked up some boxes and we’re gonna have Javi record us breaking these and ripping into some boxes. How’s that sound? When? I don’t know. When do you wanna do it? Like, I think we should do it on the podcast. What do you think? All right, let’s do this. You guys wanna get into the middle of the table here? Yeah. Austin, you wanna jump in on this? Yeah. All right, boys. gonna jump in here. Watch out for the scissors. I know Liam likes basketball. got some baseball for Austin. got m- some more baseball. Jeez. got some more baseball. We’re gonna break all these. We got some more basketballSo let’s break into these. Liam, you wanna show these boys how you, uh- Owenget into them and how to open this up? Owen, come here. Sure. Do I need to bring a mic? No, you’re good. Let’s just get in there. You guys can get in there, and Craig and I will, uhGo ahead, you can get in there. You guys don’t need the mics. YouGet in there, break this up. I mean, is this as exciting as watching it, though, on TikTok? I feel like, I feel like we’re missing out. I think we need to start doing this. I was talking to my- We could make a new channel. I wanna thank, I wanna thank, uh, Scott over at LTD Sports for, for hooking this up today at a little short notice. I called him last night, told him to bring a bunch of random boxes to, to work so I could swing by and pick it up. I think maybe next time we will. All right, let’s, uh, let’s open a box for, uh, 0, uh, Austin to open up here too while you guys do this. You, are you gonna try to crack into this, Austin? I mean, I feel like you and- No, OwenOwen, you think we’re gonnaI think you’re gonna rip like a one of one 10,000 dollar card. What do you think? Go ahead, Liam. Jump in there. I don’t care. You can, whatever one you don’t wanna open. Let’s do my Mario card. Let’s put your Mario down,They usually have, like, an X-Acto knife to do this. It’s a little bit better, easier, cleaner. Can I have this one, please? Uh, oh, what’s that, baby? I see color. Andrew Jackson. Let’s go. I’m just, uh, I’m auditioning for anybody on TikTok that’s, uh, looking to hire somebody to MC and start doing breaks so I can make some real cash. Yeah. I think, Liam, you gotta do the commentating here. Yeah, I mean- Otherwise- You gotta get in on thathere, let’s see which ones I got. Okay, I got this guy that I don’t even know. Pete Anderson. Oh, I kinda like this guy because he has the blue sword, butI got this guy. He kinda looks like- Any players you know? You’re trying. You can just tell us when you get, like, any of your favorite players. Maybe you get a Shohei. Oh, this guy. Oh, that looks like- Ooh, look at this one. Yeah. Yo. Yo. Oh,What is that one? Is that a good one? Yeah. Hold on. Give this to Liam so he can see. This one. What is that one? Give that to Liam. Call it out. What is that? He’s in the back cover. Uh, Deonte George, green. Nice. Yeah, we already did this guy, so. Is this one any good? All right. Let’s hold those ones. I mean, when I told- Okay, can I have another one now, dad? When I toldYeah, you want a baseball one? Here you go. Here, Liam. When I told Craig we were doing this today- I don’t like baseballhe asked me, he goes- I like basketball”Did we get some good boxes? “I said, “I don’t know. I think we spent, like, 500 bucks on all these boxes,” as he was buying a couple thousand dollar national treasures. They, they get expensive. Wow, got the- Yeah, I think sowait, I actually like this guy because he looks like Mario. Okay. I’m just opening these up so you guys- kinda like this guy. That’s aLook at that one. Wow. Show that one to Liam. Have you ever seen any, uh, any breaks go on? He looks like Wario. This is not exactly like what they do it on TikTok. He looks like Wario. It’s a little faster paced on this. Yeah, those are good. We’re just opening up- Look itcards, but- Wait, it says Adam like Mongoliaanybody wants to check it out, I think Liam’s gonna start doing some breaks on his, uh, sports card show here. Look it, Adam like Mongolia. After talking to, uh, Scott today. He’s looking for somebody to go to his store down in Rhode Island, so- Okay, I wanna back up thisI might have offered up Liam for a summer job- Okay, you can give this to Liamto start doing some breaks on, uh, on, on his channel, so. I kinda wanna open a baseball one. Gotta, gotta get these kids making some money here. Here, Liam. baseball one? Here you go, buddy. I’m gonna put a- A couple baseballs in therewe’ll mix this up. Who’s the, who’s the good pitcher on the Pirates that everybody wants? Let’s go. Where’s the Shohei? I want this. I, I, I wish there was someone- All right. Ready? Freddy Freeman. Oh, that one. Whoa, look at that one. It’s like an ornament. It’s like an ornament. Whoa. Oh, yeah. Those are good, too. Good hit, good hit. We gonna get a case hit or something? Yo, look at those muscles. Oh, yeah. Scott’s picking up those Panini boxes. Man. He’s got a couple cases he’s picking up tonight. I wish I got this. Oh, yeah? This guy has- Herethis guy has some muscles. He’s got some muscles? Yeah. He’s been hitting the gym. He’s been- Who is that, Giannis? I bet youI bet we can’t say his last name the right way. I always mess that upbaseman for the Boston- Who, Christian Coss? Well, that’sI can’t even say that name. It’s impossible. Blah, blah, blah. Yeah, I think so. That one looks cool. Ken Griffey Jr. Oh, nice. Oh, and it’s prism. WhatLiam, what is that? Can we open these ones? That’s a blue. I mean, I know you’re not a big baseball guy, but still. Dad, can we open these ones? Oh, nice. That would be- That one’s good. this guy. Oh, yeah. I actually like the red guy. He’s cooler. Sometimes they have a Mario Kart in some of these boxes. This is gonna be a lot of work for Liam because- Ooh, wait. If, if this podcast gets deleted and we have to make a new one, can we, um, open some boxes? Oh, there’s aThere’s another one. Can we, can we open boxes- Oh, niceof like Mario instead? Oh, yeah. I think, actually, Owen’s kinda tryingkinda into the similar thing, but instead of baseball cards, it’s like watching people open up boxes of toys. Yeah, we could do like- Yeahum, a Mario series You could do a, a break on toys. I mean, in all seriousness. Oh, yeah, like Mario, like the tiny Mario figures. Online selling them. That’s gonna go everywhere. Danny can get one of the play sets. It’s like Amazon. Yeah, everything’s gonna start becoming live. I, I’ve been- Yeahfollowing some of the stuff with Gary Vee andWomen will be buying their clothes, they’ll be just coming back out right online, so you just click a button and that’s it. It’s gonna be wild. Let’s go. What is this? Topps. got all the new Mario characters except for Fire Mario and Toad. All right. Anybody gonna get anything fire here? Let’s go. We need something big time. What, this guy’s- I don’t know what I’m, uh, looking for to be honesta lot, a lot of baseball players. This guy, this guy has been hitting the gym. Oh, really? Konkanipple rookie? Yeah. He play the Celtics next week. Dad scored 123 can have it. What, this is- How about, uh, Aaron Judge? That’s good, right? I got 100 of those. Uh, oh. What’s this? Another Aaron Judge. Do you wanna go- This one looks cooldo you wanna go play in the other room for a little bit while we do this? Sure. Do you like Bryce Harper? I wanna play with- Yeah, go ahead. You can go with Mikey, buddy. That’s a good one, right? All right. Let’s get cracking on this. I mean, there’s a Bryce Harper in there. I don’t know much about that. Yeah, we can do that. I got an Aaron Judge. Move it that way maybe. Oh, nice. Is it a good one? Yeah. Nice hit. gosh. So we should try to talk about likebefore we open one of the packs, like what are you looking for in these exactly? Liam, you’re gonna have to answer that. Pull that mic out a little bit more so you can talk while you’re op- breaking. So, uh, well, let’s say on this Topps, this one, 2026 Series 1. You’re looking for like the new rookies, like those go for like good money, and like maybe like good autographs of like players that you can get. Okay. So I always look, ’cause I don’t do this- Yeah, you pull that-uh, every single day. I just open up the pack, and if you see something that’s like a different color- A different coloror like this one, it’s a Dingers Minnie Ramirez. It’s just different than the rest of the cards. So I don’t know if it means anything or it’s worth anything, but it’s cool just to collect. Um, like what I just got is a Danny Wolf patch card, which has a piece of the jersey on it. That’s awesome. Like, in the card. Austin, you see that one? Ken Griffey Jr. Oh, yeah. Does it say anything? Uh, I think so. Oh, Marcel Mayer? That one’s good. Then you could also get like numbered cards too, which is like serial numbers, and there’s only a couple in the world. What’s that? Probably- H143. It’s a differentThe Topps set, that’s the number H1. That’s, that’s like the exclus- exclusive parallel that you get in like that box. So what does that count as, like a case hit or something? No, it’s just likecouple of those per box. Is this fireworks one any good? Yeah. How good? Probably $2. Nice. How much? $2. That’s it. one? 498 to go. I, I don’t know. We should have Liam- Anthony Edwardsafter this, we should have Liam go through it all and figure it all out and then- And see where we areduring thea- and then add it to the episode of like the actual value that we spent versus made back. Yeah, for anybody looking to do this, this is probably like the worst investment you can make is breaking into cards and, and, and doing the packs. I’ve always tried to tell Liam just to buy the cards that you really want, flip them, because this is like gambling at this point. Got a little Kawhi Leonard color though. Who’s that? A-Rod, Seattle. Oh, yeahI think the prism has like a bunch of those foilies I think we got theWe got 2 boxes of the- Yeah, it does Topps, Mosaic And for basketball we have 2 for K- uh, um, Cooper Flag, right? Yeah, 2 for one B. Did we, did we catch a Cooper yet? Uh, no. A couple Cons though. Pedro Leon. I think that one’s good. Who’s that? Bowman Scouts Top 100. It’s Christian Yelich. Yelich. Nice. I have a feeling this is something actually. It’s got a different number on the back. Could be number 69. to get. Thompson. These Bowman Chrome look like they’re pretty cool cards for baseball. I don’t follow a lot of baseball cards. Paul. You open those? These are cool cards. Nice. I think when you’re doing it like this, you just wanna have fun with it. That’s why doing the breaks is so much fun. They open it, they tell you if you hit anything awesome. Yeah, that’s I’m over here, I could have like a $5,000 card, I wouldn’t know it. No idea. Uh-oh. Shohei Jojo. Shohei. That’s a cool Jois. And Ohtani. Oh, yeah. You want that one? Is that from when he was on the Angels? Yeah. Corbin Carroll. Roman Anthony. Is that your guy? first Bowman. Isn’t that- Bowman Grayisn’t that one of your guys? Is that Matic? Is thatThis is a Roman Anthony rookie. Isn’t he really good? $2. 00. I got the exact same card. Nice. What’s your favorite one so far, Austin? don’t know. What’d you get? Roman Anthony? Probably this one. That- The Jois? Did you have a, uh, have a good time at the Celtics game when you went with your dad last time? He said it was a pretty cool time. Oh, that was awesome. Maybe I’ll just buy more tickets. Got to go on the court. David Ortiz. Another Con. Mookie Betts. Too bad the Red Sox didn’t keep him around. That was sad. Did they trade him or did they let him go? I think they let him walk. Yeah, I think he was a free agent. Dude, some of these cards look cool in this, uh, this Topps baseball set. of them. Like, they’re much different. I don’t understand why. Oh, this one. Oh, they’re Topps 75. Oh, I didn’t lose either. Nice. What’d they say? is that one no good? Oh. Uh, that’s like a base card, so likeso it’s not really that good. You’re looking for, like, the rare cards, right? Something that’s numbered, insert. Or like a Cooper. That one’s pretty good. Roy Campanella. We got Ace Falya. that? Is that Jois? All right, we need to hit like a- We got a, a nice card here. Let’s gothis one right here. Kyle is. I don’t either. I don’t know who a lot of these people are. Bookert. Oh, Allen’s cool. Like they’re investment style? Oh, it’s from the card before it. Oh, like the glitter came off maybe. Yeah, it’s like the glitter. It’s on the back of the card. There’s like half of- Is it on the back of all of them or just that one? Just that one. Is it on the front of it? It’s on the front. Oh, maybe, maybe ’cause when it was printed, it was printed with other ones like that. I gave somebody on eBay that I bought a card for $1,000 and I sold it for $200 and then it was actually worth 0. Imagine if you do that. For 2,000. Then you’d be losing money. All right, we need to at least get one Cooper here. Nothing. Oh, I got a Bam out of that. Oh, nice. You just had a big game. Batman The holiday edition, that’s why. Yeah. J. Lo holiday. Oh, nice. Oh, yeah. Those are like one per box, I think, too, the blue ones. wait, no, I don’t. I mean, think we should vote on who do you think is gonna clean console office? Should it be like your favorite? Perfect. Milestone 1,000 for one of them gets. That’d be crazy. See how wellabout- What about baseball cards? These look like they’re worth something. Oh, yeah, that one’s cool. Oh, numberOh, yeah. That’s like the number of the card. Yeah. Oh, Paul Skeens and Yamamoto. Ooh, can I have that? Yeah, you can take it. And then Roman. think you can take all the baseball cards, my friend. Oh, yeah, that one’s cool. Dingers. Who’s that? I think there’s a Manny Ramir- Manny Ramirez in there too. All right, boys. I think we can wrap up Mortgage Straddles. Yeah. I’ll try to get us our sign off. Yeah, thank you guys for coming. I know Owen, uh, attention span didn’t wanna last for the card opening, but- We’re fine. He’s probablyOh, one more. There you go. Do it. He’s probably eating candy out of someone’s desk, but-it was fun having you boys on. We appreciate it. See you guys.
